Taniya grew up in Delhi and comes from a nomadic Lohar family, a community originally known for working with iron and crafts. Today, her family lives in slums on the outskirts of the city. Despite the challenges she grew up with, Taniya possesses great creativity and a zest for life.

Within Bloom Together, she is increasingly discovering her own creative power. She loves freedom in her work and enjoys it when ideas are allowed to emerge naturally. For Taniya, creative work feels like something without boundaries, a place where she can learn, grow, and express herself.

What immediately stands out in her work is her love for refined patterns, flowers, and decorative details. She enjoys drawing flowers with depth, soft shadows, and much detail. Arabic patterns and ornate shapes also inspire her greatly. She works meticulously and draws inspiration from nature and everything she sees around her: flowers, leaves, trees, and small details from daily life.

Besides drawing, Taniya enjoys reading stories, decorating clothes with patterns, and applying henna. She also dreams of working with threads and beads in the future to learn new techniques and further expand her designs.
