Her story

Meet Ishika

Ishika lives in Delhi and is part of the Bloom Together Print & Pattern Studio, where she is developing her own creative style step by step. At seventeen, she combines her school life with her growing love for design, patterns, and creativity.

Ishika’s style can best be described as colorful, refined, and decorative. She enjoys working with rich colors, carefully constructed patterns, and ornate details inspired by traditional Indian motifs and the nature around her. A recurring style in her work is mandala patterns — a traditional Indian art form that she enjoys creating and incorporating into her designs.

Remarkably, Ishika used to dislike drawing or painting. Although she occasionally drew at school, it never truly felt like something that suited her. It wasn't until she started drawing and painting for Days of Bloom that this changed. With a calm smile, she says that creative work unexpectedly brings her a lot of peace and happiness. While drawing, she feels relaxed, calm, and free.

“With my work, I am building my own future.”

For Ishika, creativity means more than just making something beautiful. She wants to create designs that give people a sense of peace when they look at them. She draws her inspiration from flowers, nature, parks, and everything she sees around her. Every detail that touches her can later reappear in her work.

With her designs, Ishika wants to show the beauty of nature and traditional Indian floral motifs. Her work reflects the colors, shapes, and details with which she grew up, and which are so characteristic of India's rich culture.

What motivates her is the desire to become independent and build a future based on her own talent. Through her creative work, she dreams of becoming financially independent, growing further as a designer, and one day buying her own home.

Within Bloom Together, Ishika is building her future, while her love for design and pattern formation continues to flourish.
